Ridonkulous Shit Happens To Me Daily

People really piss me off. Today, when I was leaving the cafeteria after breakfast I held the door open for this girl who was exiting as well. And she didn’t even say THANK YOU! What the hell is that? It’s rude, that’s what it is. I so wanted to turn around and say “you’re welcome bitch, have a nice fuckin day! Oh, and while you’re in class, learn some damn manners!” But of course, in public, I try to have some class. Plus it was way too early to get pissy with some blonde haired bitch. Any other time of the day and it would go down. I’ve never been the type to put up with people’s shit. I wouldn’t say I’m a hardass who gets into fights all the time, but if there’s one thing I hate in this world it’s people who don’t have manners.

I come from a family that is very serious about being courteous and polite to others. If you ever publicly embarrassed my mother, you got a good spanking in the nearest bathroom. If you ever talked back to my mother, you got some sweet palm action on your cheek. If you got into any mischief, you would get what I like to call Daddy Threats. “Wait until your father comes home and I tell him what happened today.” Aw hell naw. That was the worst thing to hear my mother say. In retrospect, it makes no sense why my sister and I feared my dad so much. He never hit us once. He never punished us. That was all my mother’s doing. My dad has always been the pushover you go to when mommy said no. Sorry dad. But it’s so true, and most dads are like this. So every time my mom would give us the Daddy Threat I still don’t understand why we would get on our knees and beg for anything but that. I remember one time specifically thinking I would rather have a belt to my ass than my dad know what I had done. So I grew up with manners just always being stressed. I’m polite when people are polite to me. I’m bitchy when people don’t have manners. Do I turn the other cheek, like a normal person? Fuck no. Jesus did that and look where it got him. I’m not feelin that.

Since I came to college, I’ve noticed a lot of people lack manners. I don’t know if it’s just a lot of people had stupid parents who forgot that whole part of their upbringing or students here on campus think they can do whatever they want. I don’t care. Just because you have all this newfound freedom doesn’t mean you can act like an asshole to everyone. If someone holds the door open for you, say thank you. It’s not that difficult people. If you and a huge group of your friends are walking on the sidewalk and one person is walking towards you, get out of their fuckin way. I swear if I have to move out of the way for rude ass people on the sidewalk one more time I’m gonna lose it.

Note: This actually happened yesterday. But I wanted my first post to be about my roommate. And this situation could happen any day.

Oh and the word ridonkulous in the title was an idea I got from my best friend kait. holla!
