Bro Night

So I recently participated in a "bro night" with some guy friends of mine and Jocelyn. The night started with some pizza from the amazing Pizza X. "Pizza to the people" is their motto, can it get any better than that? Not only does their pizza melt in your mouth, the breadsticks and cheese sauce just top the entire meal off. You also get free plastic cups which will come in handy next year for the apartment. Anyway, so the bro night consisted mainly of video games. Growing up, I was never allowed to have video games. My mother is a teacher and she is dead set against them. I honestly wont be able to have video games until I officially move out of my parents house. So I'm terrible at Call of Duty and Guitar Hero and all those other games because I haven't had years and years of practice. Well that wasn't going to stop bro night. Most of the time Jocelyn was my partner for the games because she was willing to play at my mediocre level of ability. Occasionally one of the guys would play on "easy" for Guitar Hero, but use their left hand. Yea, they still kicked my ass even with their off hand. I got better as the night went on, but I'm honestly not that great with the hand-eye coordination. I was playing video games until like 3 in the morning! Being a bro is super tiring because I about died this morning trying to get my ass out of bed. But it was all worth it. I've always been a bit of a tomboy, so a night with the guys was a lot of fun. I was kinda one of them. Despite my lack of video game skills, they were all still really fun to be around and were cool about everything. I definitely learned something about the male race too. Guys need a little "bro time": some time to hang out with their guy friends. Ladies, quit bitching if your man wants to hang out with his friends every now and then. Video games are not the devil; it's a way for guys to just relax and unwind from the crazy week they've had. Us girls do the same thing, just in different form. We go shopping, or gossip. We shove chocolate in our mouths or workout. Your boyfriend can't spend every second of the day trying to make you happy. Bro time is how he doesn't go crazy from being with your needy shit all the time. Maybe more women should try doing "bro" things so that they can understand where men are coming from. I've never been a huge video game person, but I tried it and now I get the meaning of "bro night" and what it entails.
